Chassis
Hitch assemblies
There are two chassis manufactures in the caravan market, AL-KO and BPW. AL-KO have most of the market and can be identified by the use of red on their hitch assemblies. Where as BPW use blue. Both have stabilised and non stabilised hitch assemblies. Most recent caravans will have the AL-KO AKS 3004 hitch assembly although Elddis use the BPW chassis and the Winterhoff hitch assemblies. Both are extremely good.
